Columbia Basin Foundation

This scholarship was established by Herb Fackenthall to benefit graduating seniors from Almira-Coulee-Hartline High School who will be enrolling as a full-time student in any accredited university or college in the state of Washington. Scholarship awards will be distributed in two equal installments over two acamdemic school years.

Criteria:

• Student must be a graduate of Almira-Coulee-Hartline High School.
• Student must demonstrate need for financial assistance.
• Student must have a minimum GPA of 2.0.
• Student must demonstrate integrity and character.
• Student must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 during their first year of college and remain in good standing in college in order to be eligible for the second installment of the award.  An official college transcript must be forwarded to CBF upon completion of the recipient's first year of college.
