The 2019 SCHOLARSHIP SEASON begins January 1, 2019, with a deadline of 5:oopm on February 28, 2019. The applications must be RECEIVED by that date/time NOT POSTMARKED in order to be considered. No late or incomplete applications will be accepted.

The scholarship application has been revamped into online PDF documents. You will complete the PDF online then print, sign and attach ALL required materials requested in order to be considered. The applications must be received by that date and time NOT POSTMARKED by that date.
APPLICATIONS THAT HAVE BOXES TO COMPLETE WILL ONLY ACCEPT WHAT IS WRITTEN BEFORE THE PLUS SIGN APPEARS. IF YOU ARE WRITING AND THE PLUS SIGN APPEARS YOU MUST REVISE YOUR STATEMENT SO THAT THE FORM DOES NOT FORCE A PLUS SIGN. THE FORM WILL NOT PRINT ANYTHING AFTER THE PLUS SIGN. PLEASE KEEP YOUR COMMENTS BRIEF.
ALSO, USE ONLY THE APPLICATION UNLESS IT ASKS YOU TO ATTACH AN ESSAY ON A SEPARATE PIECE OF PAPER. IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO WRITE "SEE ATTACHED" IN AREAS OF THE APPLICATION WHERE IT DOES NOT TELL YOU TO ATTACH A SEPARATE SHEET.

PLEASE NOTE: A FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) is no longer required for application.
Students will be informed of awards in conjunction with their high school's award ceremonies or in the case of college students via mail no later than June 15, 2019.
Scholarships are paid directly to the college the student will be attending to further their education. Funds will be distributed prior to commencement of classes each fall directly to the designated school, provided the student has supplied all necessary forms and information to Columbia Basin Foundation.
